Built from Twenty Years of Juggling It All — and Two Years of Grief

This is the story of HerOS, and the woman who built it so she'd never disappear again.

Twenty Years of "Having It Together"

I've been an entrepreneur for 20 years. And for the most part, I had it down — the systems, the juggling, the constant motion of building multiple businesses while showing up for everyone who needed me.

For anyone who knows me, you know I always have a ton of projects happening simultaneously. Multiple calendars. Task managers. A note app for ideas. Another for projects. Spreadsheets. Reminders. Browser tabs I was afraid to close.

I was incredibly organized... but organized doesn't always mean simple. And having it together doesn't always mean it was easy.

It was HARD. And often overwhelming.

The mental load sometimes felt impossible. I was switching between apps just to check if a client call overlapped with a kid's practice. Checking three different places to remember what I needed from the store. Juggling community projects, business deadlines, and home management across systems that refused to sync.

All while trying to remember to take care of myself somewhere in the chaos.

I was going to bed exhausted, and waking up already behind.

Then Everything Changed

Two years ago, I lost my husband, Logan.

When he passed, I lost more than my partner. I lost the person who constantly reminded me that I mattered too. That self-care wasn't selfish. That I couldn't pour from an empty cup.

Honestly, without him, I forgot how to take care of myself.

I was still showing up for my kids, my businesses, my clients, and everyone who needed me.

But I wasn't showing up for ME.

The Realization

I realized: I needed a system that wouldn't let me disappear.

Not one that made me more organized or productive — one that made productivity and organizing simpler.

Not one that demanded more hustle — one that honored that I mattered too.

I'd spent years developing software and applications for Fortune 100 companies. If I can build systems for them, why not build one for myself — for US?

So I Built HerOS

Over the summer, I finally started building that app — HerOS (Her Operating System | Her Own Sky).

HerOS isn't just another productivity app. It's not about doing more or hustling harder.

It's about being BETTER at what you do — while still honoring that YOU matter.

One place for everything: business, family, household, self-care. Integrated. Intelligent. Built for the way we actually live, not the way productivity gurus think we should.

After twenty years, I've learned something simple:

Being organized is great, but spending more energy managing your tools than managing your life? That's the real problem.

HerOS is what I wish I'd had all along.

Who This Is For

This is for the woman managing:

  • Business strategy and soccer schedules
  • Investor meetings and grocery runs
  • Community leadership and household logistics
  • Plus forty-seven other things, all at once, and still trying to make room for self-care

This is for every woman juggling it all and just wanting one tool that finally gets it.

One tool that won't let you disappear.

One tool that reminds you: you matter too.

Where Ambition Meets Balance

HerOS is where ambition meets balance.

Not hustle culture. Not burnout.

Grace. Intelligence. Support.

Built by a woman who gets it. For women who get it.

Built with 💜 and intention,

Steph Vang
